Hi, it’s Coach Kira here to tell you about our upcoming workshop “Why do WE Eat What we Eat when we Know what we know?”
The workshop will be Thursday, October 20 from 7 – 9 at the Doylestown Mennonite Church, 590 N Broad St.
Changing our behavior is challenging, whether it’s quitting smoking, losing weight or starting an exercise program. In this interactive workshop from the Doylestown Food Market Community Program’s new “FED Talk” series, we will be discussing the basics of behavioral change and why we keep doing certain behaviors, even though we know better. We will cover comfort eating, fear of failure, lack of time, addiction, behavioral and/or mental health issues and other factors that are keeping us from making the changes we want to make. At the beginning of the workshop, participants will pick one healthy change that they have wanted to make and take a look at what is stopping them. We will come away with a solid plan to change that behavior.
Participants can also enter a raffle to win a free spot in a group coaching program with Coach Kira (worth $150.00). Healthy, local snacks and beverages will be served! This workshop is the first of three in our fall series. Please go to http://www.doylestown.coop/calendar to register for one, two or all three workshops.
