TedX Manhattan Changing the Way We Eat Viewing Party

WATCH THE WEBCAST WITH US, LIVE FROM NEW YORK CITY,  SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2013

We're sponsoring, in partnership with The Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and the Standard Club, this amazing viewing party - one of the very few in the greater Philadelphia area!

There will be door prizes drawn- generously donated by TedXManhattan sponsors!

TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” is a full day of talks broken into three sessions exploring the state of our food system and our progress toward sustainability. You don't need to attend the entire event!  Come and go as you please.  The session will run from 10 until 5:15 so there will be plenty of opportunity to drop in.

Location: The Standard Club 127 East State Street Doylestown, PA 18901.  The Standard club is a private club for members and their guests.  Attendees will be guests of the Doylestown Food Co-op.

You're welcome to bring your own dish, but locally sourced food prepared by Chef Justin McClain will be available for purchase, with profits going to Ridgecrest Pediatric Services.

TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” is being brought to you by TEDster and sustainable food expert Diane Hatz.  TEDx is licensed through TED but is an independently organized event.  Visit our About page for more information.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self- organized.
