In October we will be reading Mind Over Medicine by Lissa Rankin. You can read more about the book and author here:
Food For Thought is meant to be just that. This book selection is certain to engender much discussion!
We are also pleased to have a special presentation at our October book club meeting by Connie Guerin!
Connie is a Psychotherapist. Her personal story is supportive of the book title. She helps clients in her therapy practice to detox physically and emotionally so they can have a more complete and balanced healing.
We meet at 6:15 with the presentation starting promptly at 6:30. After an hour and a half of what is almost always spirited discussion, we have been heading over to a local eatery for some "social time". Some people chose to bring a "pot luck" dish inspired by the book we've read. EVERYONE is welcome. You don't have to be a member of the Co-op. Mention that you are purchasing the book for the Food For Thought Book Club, and you'll receive 20% off your book price at The Doylestown Bookshop.guest speaker, therapist and detox specialist, Connie Guerin.
