THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL RESPONSE! WE ARE AT OUR LIMIT ON TICKET SALES. WE HOPE YOU'LL JOIN US NEXT YEAR!!!
The Doylestown Food Co-op is excited to present an evening of local food on a 200+ year old farm in the Honey Hollow Watershed in Solebury, PA. Throughout the evening we will enjoy live music from Lori Rosolowsky and Jazz With Friends
as Chef Michael Kanter prepares a variety of appetizers, starting with a lighter fare and moving to somewhat heavier items as the evening goes on, ending (of course) with dessert.
Saturday, August 24th
6:00 - 9:00pm
Currently at Puck in Doylestown, Chef Kanter's experience includes six years at the upscale restaurant LeBec Fin in Philadelphia where he rose through the ranks to become sous chef. He spent time in Manhattan and other restaurants before he landed in Doylestown.
The event will be a BYOB - Bring your own beverage of choice. We will have water and iced tea available.
Our farm hosts, Graham and Layla Phillips will discuss their plans for the conversion of the farm from row crops to organic farming, establishing an organic farm supply business, and their support of the Doylestown Food Co-op. This rain or shine event will feature views of the fields, barns, farmhouse, outbuildings, and livestock. We hope you'll join us!
RSVP to buy your tickets! $70 for members, $75 for non-members.
[Please note that the purchase form will ask you if you have read the by-laws and are ready to become a member. While we hope you will, that is absolutely NOT necessary. Just check the box and move on to check-out please. We're working on removing that from the ticket purchase]
Are you interested in volunteering?
Volunteers are expected to purchase tickets for the event, as they will be able to partake in the dinner, music and festivities. The exception to this are the wait staff (coordinators, servers, bussers and food runners) who will be working the entire time of the dinner and will not be partaking in the dinner, music and festivities due to their responsibilities. Also exempted are the kitchen staff who will spend all their time preparing the food that everyone else will get to enjoy. Click the links to volunteer and then RSVP!
