Holistic Physician, Member, and Eco-system partner, Dr. Debbie Bernstein was in the store on February 8 answering a range of individual health issue questions and talking about the benefits of unfiltered olive oil and salmon for maintaining heart health.
Dr. Bernstein recommends using Mediterranean Delicacies Organic Unfiltered Olive Oil added to pastas, stews, vegetables and other items after they are cooked, as well as using on salads. Dr. Bernstein also recommends taking this particular product straight up – a teaspoon a day! Organic coconut oil, able to sustain higher heats, is what the doctor recommends for cooking.
